Plackal develops consumer apps and enterprise solutions for mobile devices. It developed the world’s first stylus based organizer – JusWrite. The application captures the beauty of taking notes and organizing tasks just as on we do on a conventional notepad. With JusWrite the user can write down tasks, categorize them, set priority, mark as ‘completed’, and set a reminder all using a stylus or digital pen on a Smartphone or tablet. “Don’t type. JusWrite,” Plackal won Samsung smart app challenge in 2012.

Plackal has developed 2 applications which are available on the android store; JusWrite and Lovecycles. Lovecycles is an app for women, which was downloaded over 200,000 times in over 150 countries worldwide. LoveCycles displays menstrual phases on an intuitive, color coded calendar. The app helps women monitor their cycles closely and highlights the fertile phases of menstrual cycles, thus improving accuracy of contraception as well as conception. LoveCycles has been critically acclaimed for its simple yet fun design and focus on usability.
