2. Tumblr

Although tumblr is essentially a blogging website it works well for photo sharing too. Users have the choice of uploading video blogs and it is a perfect mix of a micro blogging website and a photo sharing service.

The interface though is not the best. It is very light on page elements and has a tiny text field. The design controls could be increased. The dashboard is also a very confusing place for someone who is new to the website. But even with these design problems tumblr is a favorite among users and works well for beginners.
