Think Different to Succeed!
Fremont: Remember the famous advertising campaign "Think Different" of Steve Jobs for Apple which was meant to recharge Apple's innovation efforts and Jobs succeeded in doing so by thinking differently. Entrepreneurs have a very specific attitude to things like risk, luck, convention and decision-making and they need to overcome these by thinking differently to address the similar issues faced by the consumers. Thinking different can excel in associational thinking and connecting the unconnected and brings dramatic changes in their business, just like Jobs. And if thinking different can make such a positive difference, then why do not more people spend more time doing it? So here are a few simple points to pacify up your association skills to think differently. Get Specific When you set a goal, try to be as specific as possible. Knowing exactly what you want to achieve will keep you motivated and focused until you get there. Even if you do not know the method to achieve it or if the ideas do not emerge naturally, just do it. You can use role-playing to help yourself find an innovative idea and ways to think differently. Put someone else in your role and try to study his activities and point of view. This might provide you with the best option to accomplish the goal that you wanted to. However, for this, you need to be very specific in terms of the person's intelligence and capability to make decisions, whom you select to play your part of role. Seize the Moment Due to our busy schedule and our juggling between our goals, we sometimes do not notice the big opportunities to act on a goal. Achieving the goal means grabbing hold of these opportunities before they slip through your fingers. To seize these moments, you need to decide in prior when and where you will take each action, you want to to accomplish your goal. Think on the various ways in which you can micro manage your daily routine and prove your pre-planned actions to be realistic. Empower Employees to Make a Difference Make your employees believe that they can bring a difference to the business by believing in them. create an environment where accomplishment is paramount. There might be people who come and go without giving their cent percent to the company. But, those who stay needs to be motivated. Your job is to push them and make them even better so that they can come up with more aggressive vision and ideas that could bring a change in your organization.
