Vittal Mallya slowly and gradually built the United Breweries group and made it a vast domain. He himself split and diversified the business operations into various allies giving them all the strength and support for survival. He slowly started handing over the business to his son Vijay Mallya, whom he apparently sent to United States and England to get trained with the best corporations. He also encouraged Vijay Mallya to set up office locations in New York and London making it the second largest drinks conglomerate in the world. Vijay Mallya also started his aviation business and today he owns the Kingfisher airline which is one of the famous airline systems in the world. Though he has increased the business wrath, he is also known to be too very casual and cool with the extra luxury he demands.
