Buzzintown Acquired By Yatra Online
The Bangalore-based event and entertainment guide portal Buzzintown was acquired by travel portal Yatra Online for an undisclosed amount. The strategic acquisition was made to cross-sell to the similar customer base that they both had. Both the companies are looking forward to take the ticketing business to the next level. Founded in 2007 by Amitabh Saran and Uday Bellary, Buzzintown is an entertainment-oriented social network, and post acquisition, the entire team is still running the show.
