2. Google Patents:
The Google patent is very similar to the Dow Jones patent which was developed by Robin Li who worked for a company owned by Dow Jones. Both patents used similar ideas for ranking a page. RankDex was the name of Dow Jones patent and was not sure about what to do with it so Robin left the company and flew to China. Now Robin owns a small company named Baidu, and Google's patent was an inspiration of Baidu.
