Gujia is a famous sweet dish from north India,Rajasthan. It is made of Maida flour, wheat flour and stuffed with khoya. This is a traditional dish prepared during Diwali.Gujia is known by different names in different states such as 'Karanji'in Maharashtra,'Ghughra' in Gujarat,'Karachika'in Tamilnadu or 'Kajjikayi'in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The filling also differs according to the states like in Uttar Pradesh, the filling is made with sweetened khoya and nuts while in other state like Goa, it consists of shredded coconut, nuts and jaggery.
