Tejas Networks opens R&D Center in Noida

Bangalore: Tejas Networks, an enabler of high-performance optical transmission infrastructure, opened a new R&D Center in Noida, which is the first R&D center of Tejas in North India. The office will augment to its existing Sales & Support office in Delhi.
The new R&D Center was inaugurated by T.K. Wali, Executive Director Telecom, Power Grid Corporation India (PGCIL. "So far we have been making significant investments in our Bangalore R&D center. We have now also decided to reach out to the outstanding engineering talent in North India, who are keen to do innovative work in end-to-end product development companies. Since we also have a very large customer base in North India, this center with its state-of-the-art labs, will also facilitate closer interaction and higher level of support to our customers," said Sanjay Nayak, CEO and Managing Director, Tejas Networks.
The Noida R&D center will be lead by Pushkal Juneja, Group Director Engineering, an industry professional with over 18 years of experience in India and abroad, in companies such as Intel and Cadence. He joined Tejas Networks from Intel where he managed teams working on design and validation of various Chipsets.
Privately funded company and was recently ranked among Red Herring Global-100 Companies, today there are close to 100,000 of Tejas equipment enabling numerous Service Provider networks around the world.
