11. Google Wave
It was first announced at the Google I/O conference on May 27, 2009. Google Wave is a web-based computing platform and communications protocol, designed to merge key features of media.
Initially released only to developers, a preview release of Google Wave was extended to 100,000 users in September 2009, each allowed to invite additional users. Google accepted most requests submitted starting November 29, 2009, soon after the September extended release of the technical preview. On May 19, 2010, Google Wave was released to the general public.
Meanwhile Google suspends its standalone development, but the project has been added to Apache Foundation's Incubator program under the new project name Apache Wave.
12. Google +
Google+, a social network operated by Google, Inc., launched on June 28th, 2011 and purchased by Google on October 9, 2007, number of Google products, including Buzz and Profiles.
From day one, Google+ had an intense amount of interest and a big surge in the number of registered users. As Google continued to roll out their 'by invitation only' beta, users lined up around the block. Currently Google + has 25 Million Users.
