Transcend launches digital music player MP320R
Bangalore: Transcend has launched its MP320 digital music player in India. It operates like a USB flash drive and is available with a memory of 8 GB in four different colors, including pink, created keeping the fashion conscious female consumers in mind. "The MP320R's shiny precious jewel-inspired design not only gets people's attention, but also easily blends well with any fashion look. Hidden behind the player's mirror-like fascia is a vivid dual-color OLED screen that allows text content such as song titles and lyrics to easily be read at any angle - even in broad daylight," said Austin Huang, Regional Head Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend. It has an inbuilt USB connector which helps MP320R operate just like a USB flash drive, making it easier to transfer music, clips, pictures, documents and other files from any computer. Its features also include a recordable FM radio, voice recorder and a world clock. It can support audio formats like MP3, WMA, WAV, and even WMA-DRM10 protected music. The MP320R is capable of displaying 13 different languages, and also comes bundled with an unique software application that allows users to temporarily lock their computers and password-protected personal files. It also has useful functions like A-B repeat and variable playback speeds that can help in reviewing important meetings, foreign language lessons, or academic lectures. Transcend has used colors to differentiate different capacity of the music player. While 2GB is available in Burgundy, 4 GB is flashed with Pink and Sapphire and 8GB is available in Dark Black. Currently it is available with 4 GB capacity and is priced at 4500 with a two year warranty.
