Connecticut: QualiTest Group, a company involved in Quality Assurance and Software Testing services, has announced the release of Automation Planner, a suite of tools that help you create and manage your automated test scenarios, using a Keyword Driven Testing Framework. With Automation Planner you can save costs and reduce risks by eliminating the conversion of manual tests to automatic ones. It also allows non-technical testers to plan, design and execute test automation scripts. Automation Planner is fully integrated with all common testing tools, including QualityCenter, TestManager, QA Director and more. "Automation Planner was developed as a result of an acute need that we saw in the market" said Ayal Zylberman, QualiTest President "There are test automation tools available on the market, but no single framework for managing the planning and creation of automated tests using the KDT approach. The ability to plan and manage automated testing is fundamental to delivering high quality results and saving resources." Automation Planner tools suite is comprised of the following applications: Automation Planner Editor: The Editor decouples the business-logical layer from the test automation programming work. Using the Editor, functional testers can create test cases by adding items. Each item can be an atomic operation or a complex function call. Automation Planner Runner: allows users to select tests for execution, define which machine will execute the test and control the test execution status. Automation Planner Engine: The Engine executes each step in the test case using the test case steps, generated by the Editor, as the input. Each step is translated to a command, which is executed on the Application under Test (AUT). AP2QC: The AP2QC enables full integration with QualityCenter. All steps can be exported to Quality Center and executed from QualityCenter Test Lab.
