Pitney Bowes Business Insight joins Business Software Alliance India

Bangalore: Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI), the provider of location and communication intelligence software, data and services, has joined the Business Software Alliance (BSA) in India as a member. Commenting on joining the alliance, John O'Hara, Executive Vice President, International Operations, PBBI and one of the first members of the BSA India committee said, "At PBBI, we take a customer-centric view towards the protection of IP by working with our customers to derive higher value from the use of licensed software and data in the digital world. As Indian companies extend their global footprint, and continue to develop world-class products and services, we believe the ability to deliver true customer value will become a key competitive differentiator." As part of the membership agreement, O'Hara will represent PBBI on BSA's committee in India. At a time when growth in developed markets such as the U.S. and the UK is slowing, the Indian subcontinent is witnessing rapid growth. This move places PBBI in a position to help organisations optimise their use of location intelligence, data quality, data integration and customer communication management solutions to locate opportunities and trends, connect these with internal business operations and communicate with customers and citizens more effectively. This announcement is a further endorsement of PBBI's commitment to expand its presence in the region.
