Bangalore: The Professional Aptitude Council (PAC), an organization which serves the world's top employers by transforming how talent is sourced globally, launches GILD, a career advancement platform for world recruiters from the field of technology.
GILD provides technologists with free access to the entire library of PAC certifications and credentials. These credentials help people stand-out in the way companies care most about, claims PAC. Covering 26 countries across the globe, GILD provides its service to technology leaders like Oracle, IBM, Sapient, Convergys, Virtusa, Mindtree and Salesforce.com.
According to Sheeroy Desai, CEO of PAC, by providing professionals with tools to advance their professional brand and career, GILD will try to change how people manage their careers. Speaking at the launch, Desai mentioned that according to a recent survey, only 6.5 percent of the total job seekers get their expected jobs through various job portals, rests get the access through the companies themselves.
GILD conducts weekly competitions related to technology and general knowledge, where people can compete with others who have an equal standing with them, and the winners get prizes and even job offers.
