Bangalore: OpenGear, a provider of console server, infrastructure management solutions, makes its entry to the Indian marker with the partnership of 20North.com as its distributor. 20North.com is a portal that enables the U.S. retailers to sell their product and services in India. With this new partnership, Indian enterprises can order online on 20North.com for OpenGear's products. The company's range of products like open source, console server products including its newly launched - advanced console server solutions, is now a click away for the Indian enterprises. Announcing the entry to the India market, Tony Merenda, Director and Vice President Engineering, Opengear, said, "The open source market in India is definitely on the growth curve with Indian enterprises warming upto the concept. 20North.com will shorten our time to market and make our products easily accessible to interested enterprises." The Indian foray has come at a time the Infrastructure Management services industry is moving towards a remote delivery model that allows for remote management of computer servers, networks and databases due to its significant cost savings.
