Moser Baer enters web security solutions market

New Delhi: Moser Baer India (MBIL) has strived to expand their business beyond their existing products and services. It has stepped into the information and web security management in collaboration with Giesecke & Devrient, as technology partners. The aim is to offer indigenous solutions that can cover design, development and manufacturing.
Based in Noida where its manufacturing facility is situated, the company will initially include end-to-end data security solutions, namely, authentication keys', licensing tokens', 'mobile solutions' and secure storage'. Their intention to bring out indigenous solution will be in the form of USB pen drives, SD and microSD cards and in the form of software.
Speaking about the endeavor of expanding the business horizon, MBIL Executive Director Ratal Puri said, What we intend to do is an extension of our solid state storage business i.e. tangible things and devising solution to web and security management will yield higher profit apart from adding up to our standard storage products. Winding up the conversation he said, This enlargement of the industry has come at a minimal incremental cost.
It is grapevined that this innovation will come out in the month of February 2011.
