Bangalore: Datacenter operator Phoenix NAP announced on Wednesday that Internet service provider Level 3 Communications has completed a fiber build into the Phoenix NAP facility. The new point-of-presence serves as an E-PoP for Level 3 Communications, from which it will offer high speed IP services as well as additional transport and transit options within its range of services.
Level 3 will also offer private line, wavelength, Ethernet private line and a wide-range of VPN connectivity solutions out of the E-PoP. The company recently installed a fiber build at another Phoenix-based datacenter, i/o Data Centers' Phoenix ONE facility, where it is also delivering high-speed services.
"We're thrilled to have a provider carrier like Level 3 in our datacenter," says Jordan Jacobs, Director of operations for Phoenix NAP. "The combination of service and Tier 1 bandwidth they provide is a great benefit to our clients and businesses looking for a quality network solution." Phoenix NAP opened earlier this year after breaking ground on the 160,000-square-foot site, signing EC Suite as an anchor tenant soon after.
The datacenter operator says it provides flexible datacenter solutions that are customized to meet the needs of small businesses and large enterprises. Customers that want to use Level 3 services can choose to either go directly to Level 3 or to Phoenix NAP.
The Level 3 services will be offered out of Phoenix NAP starting next month when the data center's meet-me room is completed.
