In line controls
Each item on a user's wall would now have individual privacy options, such as Public, Friends and Custom. With these new inline controls, users can control the access to their posts even after posting. This could be done individually for each post. A user could make use of the dropdown menu beside the music menu to check which other users have access to their profile information.
Further, earlier users had to edit their profile information and privacy settings at different places. The new in line controls would allow the users to do both at the same place.
"The control for who can see each post will be right inline. For each audience, there is now an icon and label to help make it easier to understand and decide who you're sharing with. Also, when you tag someone, the audience label will automatically update to show that the person tagged and their friends can see the post," Facebook explained.
