Compuware unveils partner-driven cloud community CloudSleuth

Bangalore: Technology performance company Compuware has unveiled CloudSleuth, industry's first partner-driven cloud community, in India. CloudSleuth aims to highlight the performance of the cloud's federated infrastructure.
It is a free community for service providers as well as consumers who intend to build or manage cloud applications. CloudSleuth provides its partners with cloud computing resources, information and real time insight into the performance and availability of cloud based applications using measurements from around the world.
In addition to the above, the partners can offer third-party verification on how reliable their services are over CloudSleuth.
Nick Evered, Regional Vice President, Compuware Asia said on the launch of CloudSleuth, "Cloud computing is rapidly becoming the platform of choice for collaboration and application management. CloudSleuth will help bring together industry experts, early cloud adopters and newcomers to Cloud computing to foster better understanding of deploying and managing applications on the cloud."
CloudSleuth provides its partners with blogs, forums, resources and a number of applications that will help them build and manage cloud applications. Two of the applications that are currently available include Global Provider View and Cloud Performance Analyzer.
What Global Provider View does is continuously monitor a sample application running in each of the major cloud service providers. This allows users to see first-hand, in real-time, how well the sample application performs over time from the perspective of end users around the globe.
The Cloud Performance Analyzer offers the users users the ability to explore the impact of Cloud services on Web application response times. It lets users to see first-hand, in real-time, how third party services impact application performance from the perspective of end users across the world.
