28,000. Apart from the Android phone, Samsung has released its Bada OS based Samsung Wave S8500 with the price tag of about
25,000, in India, which will be available in store this month.
The Samsung Galaxy I9000 S is a feature rich smartphone equipped with the involvement of exciting applications such as 4.0 inches super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is capable of display sixteen million colours. Also, the Wave's Super AMOLED screen gives it a higher dpi. While Wave offers a 3.3 inch WCGA capacitive touch screen, the Samsuing Galaxy S offers a larger 4 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen. However, both handsets offer a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Bluetooth 3.0, 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, HSDPA and WiFi. Both the devices will have Accelerometer, proximity sensor, and TouchWiz UI 3.0.
Both the phones will set new benchmarks in media performance, as both are first to be certified as HD by DivX, with 720p video recording and playback. Also, Kevin Thau, Vice President of mobile business, Twitter, products like the Galaxy S will help put a new face on Twitter. He also added that, with this, everything that you're viewing and working with on Twitter will look its very best.
