AMD launches three new processors

Hyderabad: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has released three new processors in its Phenom II and Athlon II line-ups. The CPUs will work with both AM3 and AM2+ sockets, thus not requiring a motherboard upgrade to start using them. All of these new processors are successors to already existing processors with a slight speed strike.
Of these, the company has replaced the Phenom X6 1090T as the flagship product with the X6 1100T. The differences in speed is minor (3.3GHz vs. 3.2GHz), but its pricing is more attractive, at $265.
At the same time, the Phenom X6 1090T has had its price dropped to $235, making it an attractive offering for those wanting to get some six-core action on the cheap. Or for an even cheaper price, the Phenom X6 1075T can be had for $199. As the flagship 1100T is 3.3GHz and the 1075T is 3.0GHz, the differences in pricing make the latter rather attractive. It should be noted, however, that the 1075T doesn't come as a Black Edition like the 1090T and 1100T do.
AMD also released two other models to help round out its line-up even further, including the tri-core Athlon II X3 455, a 3.3GHz offering at $87, and also the dual-core Phenom II X2 565 Black Edition, a 3.4GHz offering for $115.
