Myth#3 Social media is free:
Twitter is free, Facebook is free, foursquare is free, Tweetdeck is still free, even Google alerts is free. So, does that mean social media is free? Erroneous! There are investment done in designing layout, application and other features of the website. So how can they give free access to their sites? In fact, social media-based marketing costs real money. For every promotional activity on Facebook, a person has to pay money.
