Tata Sky to unveil Tata Sky+ HD priced at

Mumbai: After the launch of Personal Video Recorder (PVR) service "Tata Sky+" and high-definition service "Tata Sky HD", the direct-to-home (DTH) company is all set to unveil "Tata Sky+ HD", claimed to be its first HD DVR service.
With the new service, priced at
3, 999, subscribers will be able to record the telecast with 1080i HD picture quality and 7.1 Dolby digital sound. Tata Sky HD will also come with a 500GB hard drive, said the company.
The new service has features like pausing or rewinding live TV, different play-back positions, series link, resume recording after power cut and environment friendly auto power standby. Apart from this, subscribers will also be able to watch one programme and record another one simultaneously.
