Swisscom and Subex partners for fraud protection

Bangalore: Bangalore based Subex, an Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS) provider has partnered with Switzerland based Swisscom to co-operate in the field of fraud management through Subex's Nikira Fraud Management System. The pitch came in the backdrop of the current and expected changes in market dynamics which would become a complex issue as new fraud patterns are expected to emerge. The Swiss firm merged its Fixline and the Mobile business to replace legacy fraud. "At Swisscom (Switzerland), we believe that fraud management is to take a different turn, especially in the light of globalization, converging technologies, hostile markets and continuous product innovation," said Kurt Meyer, Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Swisscom. "With this new approach we will be in closer contact with Swisscom's highly skilled fraud team and will have a direct input path to further developing our product," said Sudeesh Yezhuvath, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Subex.
