Sustainability Lessons To Be Learnt From Indian Businesses
Factories without waste
Paint and chemical companies produce a lot of waste and harm the nature to the maximum limit. In a country known for population, pollution and corrupt politics it is not difficult to lose a license if there is a small substance that harms the nature. Asian Paints based in Mumbai is the largest paint company in India and also the fourth largest paint maker in the world.
The government had stopped the company from its production activities as it dumped its hazardous waste into rivers and other such places. The company planned to dispose its waste in a disciplined manner but they rather came up with an idea of recycling and using it. The recycled water was used for flushing and gardening and Asian paints can happily say that it is no longer an economic burden.
