Suparno Banerjee is EDS global leader

CHENNAI: Global IT Services company, EDS has appointed Suparno Banerjee as the global leader of EDSs Governmnt Industry Group for the Americas and Asia.
Ghosh will now have a collaborative relationship with vice president Jim Duffy who leads EDSs U.S. public-sector businesses.
Congratulating Banerjee, Sean Kenny, Vice President of Business transformation Outsourcing Services said, Over the past few years, under Suparnos leadership, the government teams in the Americas and Asia have experienced considerable growth and competitive improvement in their operations
He will bring the benefits of that experience to his new role.
Banerjee, who joined EDS in 2003, has to his credit more than 20 years experience in managing information technology services in government and commercial sectors. Formerly, he was the Director of Deloitte Consultings federal practice and a principal at IBM Global Services. Banerjee has also worked with nationala nd state governments and international financial agencies in telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution.
He holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and a masters degree in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management.
