The games studio secured $2 million in its series A round of funding led by DFJ Frontier and Tom Matlack. The company develops free-to-play games which can be played on social networks. The games would also emphasize on some of the traits of traditional games, which are more immersive and emotionally engaging.
The company was founded in 2011 by Greg Borrud, Eric Giz Gewirts, and Chris Miller. The funding came in even before the company has launched its first game, showing the eagerness of the investors in the growing social games market. The company plans to launch its first game in the first quarter of 2010, and emphasizes that the games would have user-generated and real time content.
