Jammu and Kashmir:

This tableau of 2010 showcased the State’s crafts: Kanishawl, wood carving, carpet-weaving, willow-work, paper-machie and chain-stiching. It was a beautifully build tableau which represented the state so precisely.

Karnataka:

This tableau was showcased last year which represented a recreation of an 8th Century Pattadakal Temple, which is a World Heritage Site. The tableau is accompanied by artists performing Dollukunitha, a folk dance performed in praise of Lord Shiva. “For centuries, this art of drum beating is passed on from father to son in our community,”

Kerala:

The tableau of Gods own country was filled with its dance forms, Kathakali and Mohiniyattam last year. The ancient and wonderful dance form Kathakali was the main attraction in this tableau.
