ZipDial and Kingfisher launches Missed Call Based Mobile Game

Bangalore: Bangalore-based mobile solutions company, ZipDial, launches a unique, interactive campaign in collaboration with Kingfisher, that allows users to play 'Book Cricket' on their mobile through ZipDialling or missed calls. The game is developed and promoted by ZipDial and the users will score runs by randomly dialing a toll free number 080 300 500 77. Book Cricket is a popular game in India, where the players flip the pages of a book in turns and depending on the page number you score runs or get out of the game. In Book Cricket, the page flipping is replaced with ZipDialling. The King of Good Times, Kingfisher, has brought an interesting game and keep people engaged and celebrate the passion of cricket at a time when the country is all running with cricket mania. ZipDial Mobile Solutions was formed by three technology entrepreneurs with degree from top global universities and graduate schools and have extensive professional leadership experience in both India and the U.S. The company is funded by Mumbai Angels with participation from other notable serial entrepreneur angel investors in its Series A funding. The CEO of ZipDial, Valerie Rozycki, said that they are happy to find out that the players who participated for the first time during the launch, many of them returned back again to play the game the same day, which shows the popularity and future of the game. He said that the company is happy to add value to Kingfisher's campaigns.
