YuME raises $5 Million eyeing profitability

Bangalore: Jayant Kadambi and Ayyappan Sankaran Co-Founded YuME, a provider of video advertising network, has raised $5 million in third round of venture capital funding. The company eyes profitability by the end of the year from the raised capital. The funding was provided by existing investors Accel Partners, BV Capital, DAG Ventures and Khosla Ventures, as the total funds raised by the company have now touched almost $21 million. Headquartered in Redwood City, YuME is a broadband video advertising network provider to identify, classify and track content across all digital media platforms including web, downloads, mobile and IPTV.
