Fremont: How old is the youngest entrepreneur you know? Is it 20, 18 or 15? No, it is not. Suhas Gopinath
Now 25, Suhas Gopinath is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Globals Inc., an IT multinational company at California, at the age of 14 making him the world's youngest CEO. Born in Bangalore, India, he taught himself how to build websites and sold portals to bricks-and-mortar firms in the U.S. He well understood the law of India that did not provide permission to a minor to open and operate a company. So he decided to establish his company in the U.S. Starting with only four employees, he now employees more than 400 students between India and the U.S.
Today, he has more office in more than 11 countries and handles mover 200 clients. He even turned down a $100 million investment from a VC firm. His achievements include a "Young Achiever Award" by The European Parliament and International Association for Human Values in 2007. In 2oo8-2009, the World Economic Forum, Dovas, announced him as a "Young Global Leader".
