Words to Strike Off from a Resume

Team Player

team, player, team player, resume, CV‘Team player’, the word which is supposed to convey that you can work well in a team, is a cliché. Use full sentences describing your past experience where you have been a part of a big team, and list out your roles and responsibilities, rather than summarizing the experience in two words. Try spelling out how many people you handled, what achievement was made by the team as a whole, and list your individual accomplishments, rather than using words like ‘people-focused’ or ‘customer-centric’.
