The Name Change Game of Big Corporates
The world's most popular search engine "Google" was once known as "BackRub" and was created in 1996 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. They renamed it to Google that originated from a misspelling of the word "googol", the number one followed by one hundred zeros. It was picked to signify that the search engine wants to provide large quantities of information for people.
