The Evolution of Product Promotion
A virtual tradeshow, is an online version of the traditional tradeshows, which was kick-started in 1993 as 'ConventionView' by Onstream Media. It uses virtual exhibition halls, which can be accessed with specific permissions and capabilities, and create avatars (visual representation) of themselves. The companies can host web conferences, determine the flow of traffic, and can be used for international levels also. The relevant and tailor-made content makes these tradeshows an equivalent to the traditional ones.
