Swajas Air files DRHP for
37.5 Crore IPO

Chennai: The business and private air charter service provider in India, Swajas Air Charters, has filed DRHP with SEBI to raise
37.5 crore through an IPO, with Aryaman Financial Services as the lead manager to the issue, reports DealCurry.
The part of the fund will be utilized to finance the fleet expansion, to set up of MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul)/ Hanger Facility, purchase of office building/space, for working capital requirement and other corporate purposes.
Chennai-based Swajas Air Charters was established in 1996 as a non-scheduled airline operator offers private and business air charter service, air ambulance, charter tourism and aircraft management services with 3 helicopters and 1 aircraft operating on a dry-lease basis with 10 pilots and 5 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. With a plan to offer MRO services to its own aircraft/helicopter along with others on general aviation, the company intends to set up an In-House MRO facility at the Chennai Airport.
