Startups to watch in 2012, GetAroundRenting an expensive item, like clothing and apartments are common and the promising business model has encouraged GetAround to let users rent cars from each other. Founded in September 2009 by Sam Zaid and Elliot Kroo, the customers can rent cars from other drivers when they are not in use. GetAround has raised over $1.5 million.
