Raman Roy founded Quatrro BPO raises $13 Million

Bangalore: Quatrro BPO Solutions has raised $13 million in its second round of venture funding. This round of funding is led by Walden International along with the participation by existing investor Olympus Capital Holdings Asia and management team. Founded in 2006 by Raman Roy and his management team, Quatrro focuses on providing 'BPO in the cloud' services largely to Small and Medium Enterprises ("SMEs"). Quatrro's service lines include horizontal services such as accounting and technical support; niche platform based services for the mortgage, and consumer banking industries and specialized services including Information Services and Interactive Entertainment. Quatrro has built an extensive channel network to distribute its services. Commenting on the investment, Chairman and MD of Quatrro, Roy said, "We are very excited about Walden joining Quatrro as an investor. Walden has an established track record of backing first-mover companies and will add tremendous value to our endeavors in building unique SME services and to our channel strategy. Olympus Capital has been a true partner for the company over the last four years and we are delighted that they continue to have faith in our model." Along with the funding, Rajesh Subramaniam, Managing Director, Walden India has joined the board of Quatrro. The company's 2,500 employees spread across seven geographies cater to more than 200 enterprise clients, 9,500 SMEs and 110,000 individual customers.
