Krish Arvapally Co-Founded Mojiva raises $25 Million
Santa Clara: New York-based Mojiva, a mobile ad network, has raised $25 million in new round of funding. Shamrock Capital Advisors led the funding with participation from the existing investors Pelion Venture Partners and Bertelsmann Digital Media. The firm had raised $10.3 million from the existing investors prior to this round of funding. Co-Founded by Krish Arvapally and Dan Goikhman in 2008, Mojiva develops a self-service ad platform that allows advertisers and publishers to manage mobile ad campaign, which includes publishers like ABC, Univision, TMZ and the International Business Times. It currently works with more than 3,000 advertisers and publishers and serves 190 countries. It reaches to over 100 million users worldwide. It partners with rich media providers, such as PointRoll, EyeWonder, Phulant, Sprout, Crisp Media, Gold Spot Media, PointReach and Celtra; and ad servers, DART and Atlas, to give agencies the ability to create campaigns on partner publishers' apps and sites. Co-Founder of the company, Krish Arvapally is a technologist with a deep interest in entrepreneurship and a strong background in creating distributed client server applications, scalable software architecture design, business intelligence and drafting online marketing strategies. Prior to Mojiva, he founded Athivision, where he pioneered the development of many products in the area of mobile applications, remote desktop access/web meetings, internet security apps, data synchronization algorithm, remote support services, payment gateway systems and multimedia streaming technologies. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and have years of experience in product management, business development, marketing, technology development, operations, management of geographically distributed teams, web marketing, SEM, SEO services and network infrastructure management.
