JWT to acquire stake in Mindset Advertising
Hyderabad: JWT, a global advertising network and an integrated communications company, and a part of WPP Plc, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Hyderabad-based Mindset Advertising and will be renamed as JWT Mindset Advertising. The firm was an associate of JWT since 2007. Santha John, Ram Gedela and Anvar Alikhan founded Mindset in 1998. The company is a full service-advertising agency, which offers creative services, strategic planning and campaign execution in digital, print and audio-visual media. Prior to formation of Mindset, John headed Saatchi & Saatchi's Hyderabad operations. The firm has 44 employees and has clients from sectors like IT, education, health-care and infrastructure. Major clients include ADP, Airtel, and Pepsi. Some of the key clients of the company include Infotech, HSBC, Broadridge, Indus International School, St. Mary's College, South State Business School, Hyderabad Airport, Pepsi, NSL Group and Sagar Cement. They reported to have revenue of 5.1 crore for FY 2011 with gross assets of 4.3 crore. Headquartered in New York, JWT is a global advertising network and integrated communications company with more than 200 offices in over 90 countries employing nearly 10,000 marketing professionals.
