Keep Personal Boundaries--And Make Sure that they are Respected
A narcissist boss would feel that others are just an extension of him (not when it comes to mistakes made by you though). He feels that he is entitles to call you any time of the day and expects you to be ready with the work that he demands of you. You need to set strict limits, make a boundary, and ensure that he doesn't step over it. Explain to him that your personal life is as important as his work to you. If he is still not ready to budge, strike a compromise, like checking mails and calls at specific times. If he still remains too demanding, you can have your resume ready, and chance be with you, you will get a better deal elsewhere.
