Claritics raises series A funding

Bangalore: Claritics which is a next-generation social intelligence company, has raised $1.5 million in Series A funding by Cervin Ventures and TiE Angles.
The fund will be used for enhancing social data into social intelligence that helps application developers improve their reach, retention and revenue campaigns. It will also be used to accelerate the company's innovative analytics suite and for increasing its sales and operations. It has been recognized as this year's select group of TiE50 winners.
The CEO and co-founder of Claritics, Raj Pai, said that their goal is to organize the enormous amount of social data in a way that not only delivers immediate, actionable insights but allows the client to create automated processes around it and leverage predictive modeling to optimize campaign performance on-the-fly.
The fund will be further directed towards the development of Claritics suite of SaaS social intelligence applications, which track data from across multiple social platforms in real-time and deliver it through a neatly-packaged dashboard to help marketers and application developers take immediate action on their acquisition, engagement and monetization campaigns.
Neeraj Gupta, Managing Director of Cervin Ventures, said that the company have to accumulate the incredible amount of data flying around through new approaches for rising in the social commerce platform.
A number of leading media companies and Facebook application developers, including Grab Games, Hallmark's Social Calendar and many more, uses Claritics analysis platform in private beta. The company will soon begin accepting applications for its open beta program, providing early access to this advanced social intelligence platform and its complete suite of analytics applications. They are also planning to use the fund to grow their engineering team and sales and marketing capabilities.
