Bangalore: Bangalore-based Canvera.com, an online imaging company, has launched Vivyo as a social and e-commerce platform for photographers. Vivyo will enable the photographers to showcase and market and sell their work through internet and also to collaborate with their clients through an online hosted solution.
Photographers can create their own websites and create portfolios. They need to have technical knowledge as Vivyo offers a self service website set-up. They can easily create microsites for their clients, where all the pictures and videos of an event or occasion can be beautifully presented.
Canvera Digital Technologies, a digital imaging solutions provider, was co-founded by Dhiraj Kacker and Peeyush Rai in 2007. The team is comprised of professionals with vast experience in Digital Imaging, Internet Technologies, Marketing and Manufacturing having experience from around the world. The team has come together with an aim to create one of the world's best Digital Imaging products and services companies.
Vivyo has social integration with Facebook and Twitter, which enables social sharing with these sites and allows clients to 'like' images or comment on them along with other features. It has an integrated e-commerce solution to enable the photographers to sell prints and posters of their photographs. It is currently in a closed Beta mode and is being used by selected photographers who are a part of the Beta program. Peeyush Rai, Co-Founder and CTO, Canvera.com, said that through Vivyo, they are addressing a potentially huge void in the photography and imaging market in India. With increasing number of photographers looking for online presence and large number of consumers demanding online ways to consume imagery and collaborate with photographers they engage with, Vivyo will enable them to achieve all this without worrying about website design or development, hosting or managing images and most important, their security.
With varied choices of presentation that Vivyo provides, like choice of beautiful themes exclusively designed for photo websites, customizable gallery and slideshow settings, no compression of the images during uploading and customized website design, it also provides e-commerce solutions like integrated e-commerce solution to sell prints and posters of the photographs, print backend fulfillment and delivery infrastructure by Canvera and secured online payment gateway with multiple payment options.
