Ashok Soota's 'Happiest Mind Technologies'

Bangalore: Ashok Soota, former Chairman of MindTree, has announced that he is setting up an IT services venture, 'Happiest Minds Technologies'. Soota will be the Chairman and Managing Director of Happiest Minds Technologies, which will focus on IT services, research and development, software products engineering, remote infra, testing and consulting. Says Soota, "Since last ten years, India is not able to produce any successful startup company, which is the objective behind starting Happiest Minds Technologies. Being customer-centric and making customer happy, not just satisfied, is our key metric". With six lines of businesses, namely IT Services, R$D Services, Product Engineering Services, Remote Infrastructure Management, Testing and Consulting, Soota believes that the integration of technologies such as cloud, mobility and social CRM will be their unique features. He expects the start-up to be the fastest IT services firm from India to reach $100 million in revenue by 2016. Soota aims to establish the company as a global player with offices in various cities of the U.S., Continental Europe, U.K., Japan, Singapore and India.
