PubMatic announces the acquisition of ReviNet

Santa Clara: U.S.-based online ad network PubMatic announced the acquisition of ReviNet in an undisclosed amount. ReviNet is an ad network optimization company, which managed The Christian Science Monitor, A.H. Belo, Boston Herald and many more. With the current acquisition, PubMatic gained access to 57 new publishers along with 15 new employees and will extend PubMatic's reach to 400 million users globally. PubMatic provides premium online publishers a platform to sell with high-touch service to increase their online and mobile ad sales. The clients of ReviNet will be able to exercise PubMatic's technologies like Real-Time Bidding, Brand Control products and audience targeting products. Rajeev Goel, Co-Founder and CEO of PubMatic said that both the companies have been focusing on helping publishers sill their inventory more efficiently while earning more revenue. The acquisition will provide PubMatic a strong competitive advantage in the marketplace, they will expand their reach, and the premium publisher base will provide demand partners with rationalized access to media and audience at large.
