Happiest Minds launches India's first crowd sourced logo contest

Bangalore: Ashok Soota, Chairman and MD of Happiest Minds Technologies, launched a contest to create a logo for his new venture. It is perhaps the first crowd sourced contest to create a logo for a corporate logo in India providing a great opportunity for emerging artists, graphic designers and people from all walks of life to showcase their abilities towards contributing a logo that represents the mission, values and vision of Happiest Minds. The logos are to be featured on www.happiestminds.com and the public are invited to vote for the design they feel best fulfills the vision of Happiest Minds. Later the jury will examine the most popular logos and select one that meets the criteria of relevance, uniqueness and impressive. The jury comprises of prominent members such as R. Sridhar, Founder IdeasRs, Geetha Narayanan, Founder-Director, Srishti School of Art Design and Technology, Rukmini Krishnaswamy, Director, Spastic Society and Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer and Ashok Soota will chair the jury. "The creation can be an image, a scribble, a visual suggestion, a photograph or anything that can be transformed into a visual brand identity. Any logo submitted should be simple but captivating, and clearly recognizable," stated Ashok Soota, Chairman & MD, Happiest Minds Technologies Private Limited. "I want people from diverse backgrounds to contribute to Happiest Minds." In addition to the artistic exposure, the winner will receive a cash reward of $2000 and last date for submission of entries is June 30th 2011.
