Sri Ram Sena
Sri Ram Sena had made headlines earlier when its members attached young couples on Valentine's Day in Bangalore and assaulted girls in a pub at Mangalore. Pramod Muthalik, who has been in news since then, is said to be the founder of this extreme right wing Hindu group. The group had earlier vandalized an exhibition of late M F Husain's paintings in Delhi and is also mentioned in the Malegaon blast charge sheet. Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga and Vishnu Gupta, both booked for trespass, criminal assault and criminal conspiracy, belong to a little-known group named Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena which is reportedly formed by Tajinder Pal. He had earlier tweeted, "God give us power to complete our mission." A hardliner, Tajinder was seen earlier trying to attack Hurriyat Leader Syed Ali Shah Gilani and activist Arundhati Roy for their remarks on Kashmir. Soon after the incident, he updated his Facebook profile which read, "He try to break my Nation, i try to break his head. Hisab chukta. Congrats to all. Operation Prashant Bhushan successful." The description about the group which claimed responsibility for the attack on its Facebook page says, "Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena" A team of guys who are crazy for nation, those who can do anything for Nation.A task force against traitors, anti nationals & corrupts. a team of people, those who are ready to take any action to teach anti nationals & traitors." The demands for a ban of these groups that spread such hooliganism and lawlessness are mounting daily; however, the extreme groups are increasingly building their foothold across the country.
