Sony Home Theater now with USB Play

Mumbai: Sony has introduced a brand new line-up of its Home Theatre Systems which will provide unlimited entertainment options at home. The new range of Home Theatre Systems in the DAV DZ range come equipped with never before features like 'USB Play', 'Audio Return Channel' and 'DVD Up scale function'. These features provide high quality sound and allows to enjoy Full HD equivalent 1080p resolution video from even a Standard Definition Input. Users can enjoy favorite Songs/Video stored on USB through the USB Play/Ripping option. This option allows users to play as well as record on the USB device. With the unique FM recording, it becomes easy to record FM songs on USB device. Sony also pioneers in this segment with the introduction of 'Audio Return Channel' feature. This feature eliminates the need for additional audio connections as it can receive audio signals via single HDMI connection from TV to DAV system. The new DAV-DZ series can receive audio signals via single HDMI connection between your Audio Return Channel-enabled TV and Home Theatre System. Users can now enjoy TV sound with single HDMI cable connection. Another very useful feature for the consumer is the 'DVD Up scale' function which converts Standard Definition Signal (480) to 1080p full High Definition Video signal. Which means users can enjoy full HD equivalent Video even from non HD content. Priced between 16,990 to 29,990, the new range of Home Theatres systems will be available across all Sony Center stores and other major electronic outlets across India from 25th February, 2010. The DAV DZ810 model is available for 29,990, DAV DZ610 for 24,990, DAV DZ510 for 19,990 and DAV DZ310 is 16,990.
