Bangalore: HP and Microsoft collectively announce the solution that eases the strain of organization by optimizing employee productivity and decision making while simplifying the delivery of application by IT. Solution infuses four new converged application appliances that combine application, infrastructure and productivity tools into a single system.
Following the $250 million joint three year technology initiative from Microsoft and HP, the alliance has made a big name in India with a BFSI customer. Best of two worlds like infrastructure (storage and networking solutions from HP) and applications (such as Sequel and Share point from MS) comes together to provide customers with a complete simple and easy to deploy solution. It provides data warehousing, business intelligence, online transaction processing and messaging. Both the companies had been working on the initiative for a year now.
The solution covers a mix of applications for business intelligence, data consolidation and messaging. Win in India in the BFSI sector is mainly because of the virtual solution offered. "Microsoft and HP are helping IT professionals fight their biggest foes - time and complexity," said Jitesh Shetty, Director, Enterprise Partnership and Industry Solutions, Microsoft India "With these appliances, we're helping to put critical business information in our customers' hands when they need it."
