Melbourne: The social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter can help to study the depressed and at risk users under a new program to combat the problem of youth suicide, a new research study done by the Victoria University of New Zealand has stated.
The study stated that the social networking sites could help the authorities to identify the users who are at risk and offer them some help. They informed that a program has been devised that will scan the post to identify the key words used by the people between the age bracket 18-24, and going by the high proportion of such key words used. This will help to identify the state of the blogger.
