Fremont: si100, the annual listing of the top 100 technology companies founded and managed by Indians in the U.S. is back again. This is the 11th year that si100 companies will be selected and honored. "The only honor role of its kind, the listing not only represents the continuing rise and glory of Indian entrepreneurship in high-tech but also identifies companies that have made the VCs, analysts, press and other CEO's take notice. Each year we select 100 companies that will create an impact on the market place," says Harvi Sachar, Founder and CEO, siliconindia, Inc. By bringing a wide array of industry experts, ranging from technologists to venture capitalists including siliconindia editorial board, the final 100 will be selected on a subjective basis. While considering a company to be on the si100 merit list, siliconindia will look into a particular company's management team, company performance, employees, customer traction and evaluate the potential impact on the industry.
