RSA security to open center in B'lore

BANGALORE: The U.S.-based RSA Security announced the launch of its first exclusive development center in Bangalore with in initial investment of over $2.4 million. Announcing this, the company?s Vice-President, Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Stan Swiniarski said, ?The Bangalore center will work on identity and access management software. It will also build authentication products and work on current fraud protection offerings.? The company is a niche player in the security domain. The facility would house over 100 employees by the year-end for software development in Web-based access management and quality assurance and technical documentation. The company plans to increase headcount to 200 by the end of 2007 and 400 by 2008.
